So today is weigh in day. I'm feeling pretty excited, my scales tell me I am in for a pretty good loss, 1kg, maybe a bit more...! Woo hoo! Now I just have to wait another hour and a quater before I can leave to go to my meeting!
So last week I decided to make some goals to help me acheive my very ambitious 2.8kg goal in 3 weeks - to get me to weigh 69.9kgs or less before I leave. These were my goals.
* NO more than 21 points (core) for the week. PASS - I only ate 15.5kgs!!
* Exercise daily - min 21 points for the week. PASS - I worked up 35 points!!
* NO alcohol for the week. Oops - had 2 glasses of wine catching up with a friend.
* NO lollies, chocolates or cakes for the week. Oops, I forgot this one, I ate a few M&M's everyday.
* Min 4 CORE only days for the week. PASS (Kinda) If you dont count the 4 M&M's I passed. 4 Core days - yeah and it was easy!
* NO overdoing the foot injury, find other suitable exercise. PASS - even had a rest day (highly unusual for me!!)
* Watch portion sizes. PASS - didnt stuff myself silly once!
I am not calling these as fails as I think I have a pretty good week overall. After my weigh in this afternoon I will post my result and my game plan for this coming week. Fingers crossed!!
OK so I am back from my weigh in and I lost 1.8kgs this week - I am estatic! That leaves me just 1kg to go in 2 weeks to get into the 60's! I am so proud of myself and so pleased with my results! Now to make an action plan for this week:
* NO more than 21 points (core) for the week.
* Exercise daily - min 28 points for the week.
* Max 2 glasses of wine this week at main Xmas party on Thursday night.
* NO lollies, chocolates or cakes for the week.
* NO sausage rolls or anything deep fried at out Xmas party - eat dinner beforehand.
* Min 4 CORE only days for the week.
* Keep looking after the injuries. Afterall I dont want to be in pain on my holiday!
* Try a new recipe.
I am feeling very positive this week! Yahoo!!!!!!!! I might get Jamie to take a photo of me on the weekend for me to post. 15.7kgs GONE!

A better photo of Penni - RSPCA Million Paws Walk 08
I just found my memory stick which contains most of my life on it (you know all my holidays and budgets and planning!!!) and found some photos of Penni!

This photo was taken at this years' RSPCA Million Paws Walk at Sydney Olympic Park. Jamie and I were in Japan on holidays, but a good friend of ours Scott took Penni out for the day. I dont think he was quite prepared for the chaos of 5,000 dogs and their owners!! The above photo is proof of her steam-rolling walk - 'move out of my way or else'!!

The big day & 12 bonus points in one day!
Today is the big day. The first big day in December for me (yes I know its only the 3rd!) but I have been waiting for this day since 17 September. Thats the day jamie left our home for work. Today is the day he comes home!! Well tonight, I am picking him up from the airport at 10.45pm. I started WW on 15th August and when he left I had lost 3.8kg's. I flew to Cairns to spend a long weekend with him in early October, and by that time I had lost 6.8kg's. He saw a few photos of me from my birthday when I had lost 9.9kg's, but thats it. I have now lost 13.9kgs and I am hoping I am going to knock the socks off him! He's home now for at least 6 months and it's going to be so nice having him here - without the stress of knowing the time is coming to an end (he is normally only home 3 weeks at a time). Oh I cant wait!!
My other piece of exciting news is yesterday I earnt 12 bonus points for an awesome effort of exercise! I rode my bike for 34 minutes, very intensly up hills = 4.5 & I walked at lunch time, plus incidental steps had my pedometre give me 2 points & I spent 25 minutes on a cardio workout = 3 points and then my aqua class = 2.5 points! I felt so good by the end of it, although a little tired. I slept like a baby last night. Mind you, the down side - with my foot injury, my other leg has been compensating and now I have inflamed the muscle in my shin. So I am off the walking for a few days and going to try a new class at the gym tonight which will get me up onto my toes so hopefully the muscle will settle down. Failing that I might have to give aqua a miss tomorrow night, but I dont really mind, I have earnt 31.5 points for the week and with Jamie home, it might be nice to have a night off tomorrow and maybe cook a yummy recipe together and have some couch snuggle time :)
